As we look to the future, we believe that God’s greatest plans are still ahead of us.; and while we will continue to support life-changing missions work abroad, we also want to fulfill our responsibility to help those in need who live in our own backyard. VBM is genuinely committed to sharing the Gospel locally and around the world. As such, our ministry gives 10% of our annual income to local and international ministries. Our local missions efforts have included:

• Awarding more than $25,000 in educational scholarships over the last three years.

• Strengthening community partnerships with Habitat for Humanity, City Rescue Mission of Saginaw, Saginaw Public Schools, and the Saginaw Max Systems of Care Summer Program and Open Table.

• Purchasing property at 623 S. Outer Dr. as part of the developing family and community initiative.

• Starting the “Men’s Locker Room” rap session to bring men of all ages and faiths together on a weekly basis to play sports and for mentoring opportunities.

• Developing Boys Scout and Girls Scout troops to help invest in the futures of local youth.
