The CDC serves the community at large through programming and services to help enrich the Great Lakes Bay Region by providing opportunities for life-skills development, with a special emphasis on the Buena Vista area. The ultimate goal is to aid in revitalizing, rebuilding, and renewing the community through education, empowerment, and the strengthening of families.   Furthermore, the CDC serves at risk youth, senior citizens and otherwise underserved individuals in the areas of education, housing, finances, and social services.
